1. No-Commitment Initial Meeting

Let’s get to know each other! We will come to your space, walk through it with you and take some measurements. We want to understand how you want to use your space and what your hopes are for your renovation.

2. What’s Your Style?

Discovering your design style will help us better understand what you want from your space. Houzz is a great online tool to use to help in this process. We will walk you through Houzz and show you all it’s capabilities.

3. Realistic Budget

We need to make sure we are on the same page. We want you to be comfortable with your renovation including the cost. At this stage, we will provide you with a rough budget to ensure we are aligned.

4. Design Development

We take everything we’ve discussed to date and put together an initial design for you. Design development is a fluid process, your input is critical and there will be back and forth to polish your design to exactly what you want.

5. Scope of Work

We develop a detailed scope of work for you, because we want everything to be transparent so you know exactly what you are getting with your renovation. We assign budgets for certain elements of your renovation i.e. bathroom fixtures, which allows us to further refine our initial cost estimate. MITER will provide cost plus or fixed pricing, whatever is better suited to you. In addition to your scope of work we will develop a preliminary project timeline.

6. Renovation Contract

Let’s work together! You will review our design, scope of work and cost estimate and decide if you want to work with MITER on your renovation. At this point we ask for a renovation deposit to get things going.

7. Selections/Finalize Design

With the help of an interior designer you will select the materials and finishes for your renovation. We will review your design and make any tweaks to ensure it meets your expectations.

8. Schedule

We will provide a detailed timeline of your project. This timeline will include construction milestones, payment schedule, and contract requirements. MITER will design your project schedule around your life.

9. Construction

A meeting at your house will begin the construction process. Throughout this process we will be in constant communication with you with the assistance of BuilderTrend. You will have the ability to track your project’s progress and check-in on your project’s costs.

10. The Final Product

The renovation is done! But we aren’t finished with you yet. MITER stands behind our work and we provide a two-year warranty on our renovations.
